Loving Astrid

Inspired by an unconditional love for beloved friends in the island, Loving Astrid symbolises friendship, compassion, empathy and humility. Fragrant white lily casablancas (also known as oriental lilies) are paired with soft peach locally grown semi-Holland roses and seasonal greens – displayed in a tubular clear glass vase with pebbles. Loving Astrid is also available as a handbouquet (without vase) wrapped in burlap wrapping. A simple yet elegant arrangement only for the dearest.

What are semi-Holland roses?

Semi-Holland roses are Holland-breed roses which are grown locally in the cooler regions of Java, mostly in Bandung and Malang (West and East Java), but can sometimes be sourced from Bedugul (Central Bali) too. Local semi-Holland roses can be inconsistent in colour and in size, but it’s this capriciousness that add to the beauty and allure of these roses. Semi-Holland roses last about 3-4 days in Bali‘s climate, depending on the care and the type of vessel/base used.
