The Fiona Lesley Basket

US$65.00

Inspired by the love of two sisters who are far apart, The Fiona Lesley Basket celebrates love and friendship with peach and white tones. The Country Home Ecuadorian roses in peach are paired with local white calla lilies and white anthuriums from Central Bali, blue eryngiums (thistles) from the Netherlands, white local semi-Holland roses, peach alstroemerias and local seasonal greens wildly arranged in the handwoven basket with handle.

A Bali Florist greeting card is included with each order.

Why are Ecuadorian roses the best in the world?

Ecuadorian roses are more appealing because of their size. Unlike roses grown in Holland, Colombia or Africa, roses from Ecuador have larger buds and blooms. They also have longer, thicker stems than other types of roses, and are known to last longer than other roses.

What are semi-Holland roses?

Semi-Holland roses are Holland-breed roses which are grown locally in the cooler regions of Java, mostly in Bandung and Malang (West and East Java), but can sometimes be sourced from Bedugul (Central Bali) too. Local semi-Holland roses can be inconsistent in colour and in size, but it’s this capriciousness that add to the beauty and allure of these roses. Semi-Holland roses last about 3-4 days in Bali‘s climate, depending on the care and the type of vessel/base used.
