QUICK FACTS

Making sparkling water at home is much cheaper than drinking bottled water
Forgo the need to shop for bottled sparkling water or canned soda water now that you can make you own fresh sparkling water anytime.
Most importantly, you’re helping the environment by reducing bottle/can trash.

Is sparkling water healthy?
Sparkling, or carbonated water, is water that has been infused with carbon dioxide gas (CO2), hence, its fizziness. Unlike most commercial carbonated water that might have added salt and/or minerals, your homemade sparkling water will be as healthy as regular drinking water.
In fact, studies have shown that carbonated water may be beneficial to your digestive health! You may even wish to add fresh fruits and herbs to your sparkling water. And for the more adventurous, experiment with spirits and be your own sparkling mixologist with Sodafresh!

TIP

Use cold water to make better, fresh tasting home-made sparkling water.

Did you know that making sodawater with cold water is more efficient than room temperature water?

The solubility of gases decreases with increasing temperature, so the air space inside the carbonation bottle when cold water is used will be less compared to warmer water. The cold water will take up more CO2 and less will be escaping to the air.

All Brands of Soda CO2 tank refills

Whatever brand of CO2 tank you have, we accept them all!

Yes, we make it ultimately convenient for you to exchange your household compatible CO2 tank (0.6L) of any brand with our filled Sodafresh tanks, including Sodastream*, iSoda, Soda Xpress, Drinkmate, Wassermaxx, and many more.

Do you accept all tank threads?

No, household compatible CO2 (0.6L) tanks with the above type of thread marked in green below (middle) are the only ones accepted. The middle type is the worldwide’s most common thread for major sodamaker brands. Sodafresh does not accept the thin thread valve on the left and the click-valve on the right.

What about the tank’s inner valve?

We don’t care how your tank’s inner valve looks like, we accept them all. Only the thread (side of the valve) matters, as shown above.

Will other branded tanks fit into my

sodamaker machine from overseas, or visa versa?

Sodafresh CO2 tanks are standard and fit into most sodamaker brands Soda Maker brands and models, e.g. Sodastream(TM) or Aarke(TM) machines. In the case you are moving to another country, the local CO2 tank brand will fit and you can continue to use your Sodafresh sodamaker. Sodafresh accepts all CO2 tanks that are less than 5 years old and have a USA or European valve thread (see above). Please check your tank thread.
