Purple & Red Tropicals in a Vase
For a purple-red arrangement on a vase, we combine white and/or light purple dangling Phalaenopsis orchids with semi-Holland roses in red/soft pink/lilac tones topped with white/pistache green anthuriums. The bohemian-style vase arrangement is made lush with seasonal greens and fillers.

What are semi-Holland roses?
Semi-Holland roses are Holland-breed roses which are grown locally in the cooler regions of Java, mostly in Bandung and Malang (West and East Java), but can sometimes be sourced from Bedugul (Central Bali) too. Local semi-Holland roses can be inconsistent in colour and in size, but it’s this capriciousness that add to the beauty and allure of these roses. Semi-Holland roses last about 3-4 days in Bali‘s climate, depending on the care and the type of vessel/base used.
